Many residents feel fatigued and sleepy due to sleep deprivation. When should you be concerned that more is going on?

Indications that maybe you should see a Sleep Specialist:

  • Significant snoring
  • Witnessed apnea
  • Feeling too sleepy to do the job
  • Feeling more sleepy than expected for amount of sleep
  • Falling asleep driving or near misses
  • Restless leg symptoms that is bothersome/interfering with sleep
  • Significant insomnia
