The Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) at Washington University provides comprehensive oversight for all graduate educational training programs, including ACGME-accredited, non-ACGME accredited programs, and non-standard training. This webpage offers essential information regarding institutional requirements, such as Program Letters of Agreement and the Graduate Medical Education Committee.

The WashU GME Office also manages the process for elective rotations, facilitating opportunities for internal trainees to undertake short-term rotations. Additionally, our programs can host visiting trainees for both hands-on and observational rotations. Our team collaborates closely with the BJH GME and SLCH GME to ensure effective supervision of all trainees at the institutional level. It is important to note that before any requests are processed by the GME office, trainees must obtain approval from their Program Director and coordinate with their program coordinator.
